Building bridges
In a nutshell…
- An active workshop in which feedback is central
- Audience: 4-200
- Duration: 60-120 minutes
Following a short introduction, we will split the group up into teams of about 5. Each team gets the job of building a real bridge! The material used is Knex; a technical ‘toy’ that is very good for making complicated and beautiful constructions.
Each team must keep to several rules and criteria in building their bridge. The ultimate goal is to link up all the individual bridges to form one big bridge! (You get the picture – the dimensions of all the bridges have to correspond in order to achieve a good result…). The success of the project is determined by all sorts of team skills and the presence or absence of leadership and creativity. The goal has been achieved when the battery-operated Knex vehicle drives over the big bridge.

After this climax and a cup of tea, there is an evaluative reflection on how people experienced it, what went well and how they would do it differently next time.
This is a pure team building workshop with an emphasis on communication, knowledge sharing and proactivity. You get to know each other better in a relaxed way.
